How the AI works

Practical AI, with you in control.

BookInForce uses AI to do the slow, manual reading you don’t have time for — then hands you the findings and ready-to-edit drafts. It speeds up the work; it doesn’t make the decisions. You always have the last word.

What the AI actually does

Five core capabilities that support producer review of commission and policy-administration information

1

Explains a policy in plain English

Turns a dense policy or illustration into a clear summary of where the coverage stands today — what it does, what it costs, and where it may fall short.

2

Surfaces the dated facts

Reads your in-force book and surfaces the dates and figures carried on each policy, with the record each one came from.

3

Surfaces lapse risk early

Highlights policies showing early-warning signs while there's still time to act.

4

Spots commission gaps

Compares expected versus received commission and flags discrepancies with a likely cause.

5

Drafts your outreach

Writes the lapse-save message or the carrier inquiry as a starting draft — which you review, edit, and send.

What the AI will not do

Clear boundaries and guardrails for trust and compliance

It does not give insurance, legal, tax, financial, or compliance advice.

It never sends client outreach or recommendations on its own — you review and approve every draft before it goes out.

It does not decide what a carrier legally owes you; that judgment stays with your agency.

Its figures are illustrative estimates, not guarantees of outcomes.

It does not train AI models on your book. Your data is used to do your work — never to teach a model that serves anyone else.

Every BookInForce workflow keeps a human in the loop — you. The AI prepares the work; you decide what to do with it.

What the AI drafts, and what runs automatically

Two kinds of help — and where each one stops.

The AI drafts — you send

These prepare something for you to review, edit, and send. Nothing leaves your hands until you say so.

  • Policy review drafts — an internal analysis and a client-ready letter, built from figures calculated in code. Never recommends buying, replacing, or surrendering.
  • Commission inquiry drafts — a courteous, non-accusatory note to the carrier about a commission variance, ready for you to review and send.
  • Priority briefings — one or two plain-English sentences on why a policy needs attention, shown in your queue. Internal only; nothing is sent.

What runs automatically

Some notifications — client status updates, reminders, calendar syncs, and your daily summary — are sent automatically when something changes, so you don’t have to remember to. You stay in control of them, and can see exactly what each one does.

How your data is handled

The same rules from our Security & Trust page apply when the AI is involved: your book is encrypted, it’s access-controlled and limited to your agency, and it’s never sold.

Your book is not used to train public AI models.

Why we describe it this plainly

A lot of tools now claim “predictive AI” without saying what it does. We’d rather tell you exactly where AI helps and where a licensed professional — you — is required. Specific beats magical, especially with your clients’ policies.

AI-generated summaries and drafts are illustrative and are reviewed by you before any action is taken. BookInForce is software and does not provide insurance, legal, tax, financial, or compliance advice.
